Public Schools Midland Meeting 2019
The meeting took place at Brancaster on Thursday & Friday 11-12 October during the highest tides of the year. To get an idea of what the course looks like during high tides look at this drone footage. There were also very strong winds from the South which made most holes more difficult than usual but the average Stableford score was a creditable 29 points.

Sadly our Bernard Darwin effort this year came to a juddering halt in the first round versus Eton whom we beat in this event last year and in the Halford Hewitt this year. So following the result at Lord’s the old foe had a good month.
The match hinged on the final two matches which went to the 18th after Steve Posford and Jamie Warman won the top match 3/2 (Posford notably hitting the centre of the fairway all day).
The OHGS Scottish Meeting’s main event is at Muirfield but other great courses are included for those who make the trip.
