Billings & Edmonds have taken on the remaining stock of ties and bow ties from the OHGS and have placed orders for new stock which should arrive in time for Christmas. In addition to the society tie and bow tie they will stock our crested jerseys and hats.
Our host, Anthony Speelman, pictured in the middle of the finalists, looked after us exceptionally well and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience of playing Valderrama under clear blue skies with no wind.
The OHGS held a very enjoyable Autumn Meeting at Brancaster. The picture shows the winner (John Macpherson) of the Gilroy Challenge Cup in front of the honours board.
George Haggerty (Newlands) came second in the Junior Gross Competition at a recent schools event at The Shire. He may have a future representing the old boys in the Halford Hewitt etc.
