It was an overcast day with a damp atmosphere but the course itself was in excellent condition. There was some fine ball striking by all but not always on the fairways and the bunkers, of which there are many at Little Aston, were quite challenging after the recent heavy rains.
The first pair were hampered by William being slightly injured having taken a heavy fall on paving stones day before. The second pair were the team leaders on 32 points with the other 3 pairs in the mid to upper 20s
With 3 scores to count this resulted in a score of 87 which placed the team equal 6th.
All team members said that they enjoyed the day and many thanks to all who took part, with all but 3 having travelled for several hours to join in the day.
With this in mind, it is likely that the organiser of the event will allow the Harrow team to retain the last tee off time next year.
