Ronnie Watson, a stalwart of Halford Hewitt and particular Darwin golf for the OHGS, sadly died at the age of 91 on Monday January 31st. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Pett Church on Friday 18th February at 12 noon.

It is with the deepest regret that I inform members that Charles Donald passed away peacefully on Friday night in the Marsden Hospital Sutton.
One of our members, George Rothman, who was President of the OHGS from 2006 to 2008, has just written a book “New Angles on Golf”, to be published late November, by JJG Publishing, an Imprint of Quiller Publishing, with a foreword by Peter Alliss.
This was played at Brancaster on 2nd November, the only day in the year when it is set up to play “backwards”.

Jeremy Fricker & David Norris ’07 Finalists, Alastair Mackenzie & James Amies ’06 Finalists travelled to southern Spain for a long weekend of golf. Accommodation was kindly provided by Charles Donald who was sadly indisposed and could not join the party.
