As usual, there was a warm up held at Royal Worlington and Newmarket on Wednesday afternoon. 9 were able to make it, so we played three-balls, which is rarely allowed on the strictly two-ball course. The competition was won by Goddard, Wilcox and Leeming with a creditable 74 points (2 to count on each hole). The winning team were each awarded long socks with the Club's much coveted pink jug logo, as modelled enthusiastically by Jerome Wilcox the following day. Next year, we will be playing for goblets, and we hope more of the field can make a much-enjoyed stop directly en route to Brancaster.
