Course Conditions
The meeting benefited from excellent timing, as torrential rain the day before—perhaps the heaviest downpour of the year—combined with the warm autumn growing season to transform the course. Brancaster appeared in its finest condition of the summer, providing an ideal setting for the competition.
Thursday Competition Results
Twenty-eight members faced challenging south-westerly winds that made the back nine particularly demanding. The day's competitions produced exceptional performances across all categories.
Individual Strokeplay
Stapleford Competition Winner: Ross Bryan (37 points)
Runner-up: Tom Barclay (35 points)
Rothman Scratch Shield
This competition incorporates age allowances, with scratch scoring determining the winner.

Afternoon Competitions
Following lunch, the knockout competitions commenced alongside the foursomes events.

Evening Festivities
Members transformed into black tie attire for dinner at the Brancaster Staithe Sailing Club. The evening featured an excellent feast followed by traditional Songs with put-ons. Unfortunately, the Captain of the Royal West Norfolk Golf Club was unable to join the festivities.
Friday Competition Results
The majority of members returned for the second day's play, competing in foursomes for the Secretary's Salvers while the knockout finals reached their conclusion.

Meeting Highlights
The meeting was particularly notable for welcoming several new members experiencing their first Society competition. The presence of fresh faces alongside established members contributed to an excellent atmosphere throughout both days.
The combination of testing weather conditions, competitive golf, and traditional Society hospitality made for a thoroughly successful Autumn Meeting, maintaining the high standards expected of Old Harrovian Golfing Society events.
