The Public Schools Midlands Golf Meeting was held at Little Aston on Wednesday 22nd June.
12 teams took part, Clifton being unable to raise a team. As usual the course was in excellent condition, there was barely a breeze and the warm day gave the opportunity for the most enjoyable golf in good company on this challenging course with its numerous bunkers.
The day’s format followed the same as previous years with a foursomes team competition (best 3 scores) in the morning and a 15 hole individual aged handicapped event in the afternoon.
Harrow’s team as paired consisted of –

Mark Wilson/Tony Sood,

Adrian Gracey/Alastair Mackenzie.

Wrekin won the team competition with a score of 106 and Harrow finished well up with 98. Congratulations go to Adrian and Alastair who were runners up in the morning best pair competition with a gross score of 80, one behind the winners on 79.
As match manager I would like to thank all members of the team and David Moseley, who elected to be the reserve, for delivering on their commitment to the event made many weeks in advance.
