J P Macpherson organised the first regional meeting in recent memory at Nairn Golf Club on 22nd September 2013. We hope this is a model for other regions to provide opportunities for OH Golfers to get together and enjoy some fine company and golf courses.
J P Macpherson, who recently rejoined the society, was kind enough to arrange some tee times at Nairn for the inaugural Scottish regional meeting of the OHGS. It did not get much prior publicity and was consequently quite a small meeting, but hopefully it will become bigger in future. The OHs playing in addition to JP were Stephen Bois, Ben Wallace and Thomas Olesen making up one group and the other group comprised Alexander Wallace and George Olesen accompanied by two non-OHs.
The best score was 36 Stableford points by George Olesen who finished with an Eagle on the last hole.
