The Autumn Meeting is traditionally held at Royal West Norfoilk GC in late September/ early October.
20 hardy souls braved the elements ~ strong breezes, exacting conditions and skilful competition contributed to a successful few days and convivial company.
An excelllent range of abilities and ages (including a number of boys only recently left school) competed ~ but the honours mainly fell to the more experienced campaigners: David Norris won both the Aubrey Edwards Challenge Cup and the Gilroy Cup (high handicap knockout). George Rothman agin won his Special Scratch Salver (perhaps we need to review the rules!) and was a successful partner in winning the Secretary’s Salvers with Will North. All in all, a most successful occasion for all.
